Bishop Wordsworth’s School is a single-sex boys selective school and South Wilts Grammar School for Girls is a single-sex girls selective school.
Bishop Wordsworth’s School allocates 160 places in Year 7 and follows the CEM (University of Durham) 11 plus selection test.
South Wilts Grammar School for Girls allocates 160 places in Year 7 and follows the GL (University of Edinburgh) 11 plus selection test.

WHAT IS SALISBURY LIKE?
Salisbury is located at the confluence of rivers Avon, Bourne, Ebble and Wylye. It is a cathedral city in Wiltshire with a population of under 45,000. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge is located there. Salisbury has been welcoming travellers since 1227 and is steeped in history. Its heritage and upbeat culture attracts plenty of visitors from around the world. At Salisbury Cathedral, they have manuscripts of the Magna Carta from 1215 AD. Salisbury also annually hosts the Salisbury International Arts Festival which fills the streets with many different events. It was awarded Purple Flag status for a great night out.
